About the Author:
Shell Christine grew up on Tucker road right next to a Buffalo farm, on a small dead end street in the house her dad built.
Tucker road was the kind of place, where all the neighbors knew your name, and all the kids were homeschooled and spent their days playing outside until the street lamps came on.
It was a quiet childhood, where you bartered with your neighbors for what you needed, and there were no technology distractions to mess with your day. Though Shell grew up with seven siblings, there were more animals on the Conner farm then people, which is exactly what she wanted.
It was here on Tucker Road, Shell first discovered her love of writing and art at the young age of five.Though Shelly Conners is all grown up now, and resides in the beautiful state of Florida with her wonderful husband Brendon, and fur baby Sir Winston Pooh Bear, she never outgrew her love for writing, art, and her whimsical imagination. If she is not going to Disney with her love, worshiping Jesus in church, or traveling the world, you can find her most days in her favorite coffee shop sipping a matcha latte, where she is striving every day to change the world one story at a time- Shell Christine

I had the pleasure of meeting Shell at the Jacksonville book fest this afternoon where I purchased her book for my sons. After I had a pleasant conversation with her and heard a bit about the inspiration for her story I decided to buy it. Upon reading it with my sons it became very apparent that she poured her soul into this book. My sons love the stories and illustrations alike. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great children's book and wants to help an independent author get off the ground. I hope that this turns into a series of books as I will certainly be a repeat customer.

Super cute story! Helps kids to really use their imaginations! I love all the characters and illustrations! It is also really exciting because it is the 1st in a series... so can't wait for the next book to come out!!
